FAQ'S - Mobile Massage

How to book: You can book online through our website. We do our best to accommodate same day booking, 2 hour notice is required. If you prefer to double check availability or have any questions, please book via Whats App

What happens after booking: You will receive an email or Whats App confirmation for your booking. A fully equipped, professional therapist will arrive at your location for your treatment on the designated day & time.
 

Do you have to book in advance? Yes, booking ahead is necessary to guarantee a slot.
 

Are there cancellation fees? We accept cancellations up to 24 hours before your treatment. Should you cancel on the day, you will be charged in full for your appointment.

Can I book more than 1 therapist for a couple’s massage or group? Yes, if you would like to book for a group or your family, please send a message via WhatsApp. We will arrange for 2 -3 therapists to come to your location for the treatments simultaneously.

How long are the massage treatments? You have the option to book a massage from 30 minutes to 90 minutes long.

What equipment is brought? The therapist brings everything needed, including a massage table, fresh towels, oils, and music.
 

What should I wear? We recommend wearing your underwear only for the treatment. You will have the option to undress to your comfort level for the massage. The therapist will leave the room before you undress and get onto the bed as well as after the treatment, for your privacy. You will be covered with towels for the duration of your treatment.

Can I talk during the massage? Yes, you can choose to talk to your therapist or relax with your eyes closed.

Can I request my therapist to focus on specific areas? Absolutely. Your therapists will ask you beforehand on the day how you are feeling and customise your treatment according to your preference.
 

What if I'm pregnant? We offer specialised pregnancy massages tailored for expectant mothers after the 1st trimester. When booking your pregnancy massage, please let us know how many weeks pregnant you are.
 

How will I feel afterward? Most people feel extremely relaxed. You might feel slightly sore the next day. 

Where can I have a mobile massage? You can have a massage at your home, hotel, or Air BnB.
 

Is a home massage as effective as a traditional spa treatment? Yes, mobile services offer the same professional treatments in a more comfortable environment. The added convenience of not having to drive after a treatment is beneficial.
 

Are services available in my area? We service the Deep South & Southern Suburbs of Cape Town. We are based in Fish Hoek. Travel fees are applicable depending on where you are situated.

Are there any contraindications for massage? There are a few circumstances when massage should be avoided. These include a contagious illness such as the flu or a cold, fever & high temperature, skin rash & the 1st trimester of pregnancy. In the case of illness, it's best to wait until you've recovered before getting a massage.

What should I avoid before a massage? Avoid toxins like alcohol. We recommend avoiding eating a heavy meal 1 - 2 hours before your treatment. It can lead to discomfort like bloating and lethargy, and may hinder the massage's effectiveness.
